How to Play Whack-a-Mole
Click or tap moles as they pop out of their holes. Each mole you hit earns a point. Be quick — they disappear fast!
Tip: Watch for the glow before a mole appears to react faster.
💡 Whack-a-Mole Tips
- Watch the whole board, not one hole. Keeping your gaze in the centre lets peripheral vision catch whichever mole appears.
- Wait for it to be fully up. Tapping too early misses; moles are only hittable once they have surfaced.
- Rest your hand between taps. Hovering ready beats returning from a distance each time.
- Expect the speed to climb. Later rounds shorten the window, so accuracy matters more than speed early on.

This is pure reaction time — a stimulus appears and you respond as fast as you can — which makes it the most direct reflex exercise in the collection. Keeping attention spread across the whole board rather than fixed on one point is a genuine skill and it is what separates good scores from average ones. Suited to ages 4 and up.
