💡 Getting the Most From Silly Face Maker
- Name the emotion being built. Asking whether the face looks happy, surprised or cross connects features to feelings.
- Change one feature at a time. Swapping just the eyebrows shows how much a single element shifts an expression.
- Exaggerate deliberately. Oversized features make the emotion clearer and are more fun to build.
- Try copying a real face. Recreating your own expression adds an observation element.
🧠 What Silly Face Maker Develops
Building faces supports emotional literacy — recognising and naming expressions — which is a genuine developmental skill rather than an incidental one. The single-feature-at-a-time approach makes the link between eyebrows and mood unusually visible. Suited to ages 3 to 8.
