How to Play Pattern Designer

💡 Getting the Most From Pattern Designer
- Establish the repeat unit first. Every pattern is one small block repeated; designing that block well is the whole task.
- Keep the palette tight. Three colours produces a stronger result than eight almost every time.
- Try symmetry and rotation. Mirroring or turning the unit generates patterns that look far more sophisticated than the effort suggests.
- Step back to check. Patterns read differently at a distance, and flaws in the repeat only show up there.
