🎮 How to Play Solitaire (Klondike)
Solitaire, also known as Patience, is the classic card game that comes pre-installed on every computer. The goal is to move all 52 cards to four foundation piles, organized by suit from Ace to King.
- Setup: Cards are dealt into 7 tableau piles. The first pile has 1 card, the second has 2, and so on. Only the top card of each pile is face-up.
- Moving Cards: You can move cards between tableau piles in descending order and alternating colors (red on black, black on red).
- Foundation Piles: Build these starting with Ace and ending with King, one suit per pile (Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, Spades).
- Stock Pile: Draw cards from the stock pile when you're stuck.
💡 Winning Strategies
- Always expose hidden cards: Prioritize moves that reveal face-down cards. More options = more winning chances.
- Save Kings for empty columns: Only Kings can occupy empty tableau spaces. Don't rush to empty a column unless you have a King waiting.
- Don't move to foundation too early: You might need lower cards to help move others in the tableau.
- Build evenly: Try to keep foundation piles balanced. A big gap between suits limits your options.
